Question: How do I Register for the ComputerWise Forum?

Answer: Just a few simple steps. If you have not yet registered you can get to our Forum by the ComputerWise or Computer Pals Web Page (click ComputerWiseTV or Computer Pals), and when the page loads click 'Discussion Forum' or 'ComputerWise Forum'. The Forum will load, and you can click on the 'Register' link at the top to begin registration.

The first page explains the regulations and the software, and at the bottom of the page you are asked to select if you are (A) 13 years of age or older or (B) under 13 years of age. Make the appropriate choice and then you will see this screen:

In the field beside 'Username' type a Username you want to use on the Forum. This is NOT your e-mail user name. In the field beside 'E-mail address' type your e-mail address. It is very important that this is your correct e-mail address. In the field beside 'Password' type a password you would like to use for the Forum. This is NOT your e-mail password. In the field beside 'Confirm password' re-type the password.

IMPORTANT: Write this new Username and Password down so you don't forget them. We cannot retrieve your password if you lose it. It is private and encrypted. Only you will know this password.

Finally, type the 'Confirmation code' in the field provided. This is case sensitive - meaning capital letters and small letters are not the same. A zero will have a diagonal line thru it. The above confirmation code is: MRVM8K    Of course yours will be different when you register. You may only register once for your e-mail address so be careful to do it correctly.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the 'Submit' button. You are not required to fill in any of the other information. You can do it later if you wish.

You are one step from being finished. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided. When you receive this e-mail, you will be asked to left click on a link provided and the confirmation of your e-mail address will be complete. You are now registered and can post questions as you wish.

Congratulations and Welcome to the ComputerWise Forum!
